Health and Safety Advisor
C.E.M. Alliance on behalf of our valued client seek to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Advisors for two different contract roles

About the role:

Our client is a leading 2nd tier miner with a long and successful history.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that values your contribution, listens and respects their people whilst embracing diversity across their business.

Based on an 3:1 Roster FIFO from Perth, the contract period for these roles is 2 to 3 swings for the night shift role and 5-6 months for the day shift role.

As an integral part of the Safety Team, the day-to-day duties of the role will include:

Working as a Health and Safety Advisor providing support to all aspects of the operations
Construction team etc
Monitor and report on health and safety related licences, regulations and standards.
Drive and support safety, health, hygiene and emergency response improvement projects.
Assist with the coordination of all functional safety issues including the maintenance of relevant records and reports.
Provide safety mentoring and guidance to leaders and workers.
Assisting with accident / incident investigations as required.
Facilitate risk assessments to support operations and their ability to control and reduce risks across activities.
Maintain and review hazard reporting processes and consult to develop corrective actions.

Essential Attributes & Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or Cert IV OHS.
Previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor on site essential.
Demonstrated ability, passion, and drive to deliver multiple functions and disciplines across construction mining sites.
Strong interpersonal, communication and skills that can be successfully applied across all levels of the business.
