About the role
As the Regional GM, you will have accountability for the overall business operations, performance and growth of the Western Australian market.
Clipex believes in providing solutions to their customers, not just supplying products and you will provide leadership and direction across the region in line with the strong values and principles of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- End to end responsibility for operations & performance and Business development across WA
- Provide leadership & direction to regional staff to maximise sales & meet customer needs
- Work with Branch Ops Lead, Solutions Sales Specialist & Service/Install Tech to ensure targets & objectives are met
- Evaluate performance in your region & provide accurate & timely reports to the executive team
- Develop a business development strategy to grow the Clipex business in WA
- Develop indepth understanding of Clipex products, services & local customer base
- Resolve problems in the region when they are escalated
- Develop strong relationships & networks internally & externally
- Understand, promote & model the values & culture of the company
- Recruitment, performance management & training & development as needed
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role (preferably in the Ag industry)
- Proven financial acumen and understanding of Profit and Loss Statement
- You think, act and feel like a business owner
- Ability and foresight to identify good business opportunities
- Sincere belief in people and fostering mutual respect and trust
- Personal accountability demonstrated through monitoring, evaluation & improvement
- Has a deep understanding of rural Australia & the needs of our customers
- Ability to undertake & oversee operations in line with Clipex vision & values
- Ability to strategically evaluate operations & provide innovative solutions for continuous improvement
- Strong leadership & engagement skills to motivate staff to deliver operational excellence, in a diverse workforce
- Excellent relationship builder can develop & maintain effective working relationships based on respect & trust across all levels of business, both internal & external
- Handson, cando person able to work autonomously
- Positive personality & strong values with a real desire to help people
