IDEAL Plan Management is a division of Nexia Canberra Chartered Accountants and provides financial administration services for participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.


ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the customer service and finance function across the Division.

You will be a highly motivated individual with a proven record of achievements, enabling you to learn quickly within a fast paced and service-oriented environment.


Joining our team of dedicated professionals, you will be contributing to the effective delivery of high-quality support to our clients in a timely manner.


It is essential for you to have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills working with various members of the team and liaising with external stakeholders.


POSITION PROFILE

  • Provide timely and accurate payments to service providers and clients
  • Investigate and resolve customer enquiries ensuring that information provided is accurate and in accordance with APES, NDIS Act, QSC and other federal and state/territory policies in relation to the provision of plan management services.
  • Assist in lodging claims to the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency).
  • Reconcile payments to service providers and clients.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, support coordinators, service providers and NDIA.
  • Other general administrative tasks as required including accurately maintaining database records and other duties to support the operations of the NDIS Ideal Plan Management team.

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications will be highly desirable
  • Positive team player attitude with a customercentric focus
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational, time management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple tasks
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel will be highly desirable
