Mechanical Fitters and Maintenance Fitters for various current positions, up-comping projects and shutdowns in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs.

For these roles, you will have the following:

Tickets and licences

Certificate 3 in Engineering
Mechanical Trade
Construction Industry Card
Working at Heights (advantageous)
Confined space (advantageous)
Working rights in Australia
Ability to pass a D & A
Drivers licence

Skills and experience requirements to match your discipline:

good understanding of fitting principals

- experience with shrink fits (Varying components)
- the ability to read and interpret drawings/machine manuals
- the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- the ability to work unsupervised
- accuracy in measuring and marking, and recording
- previous site experience
- experience in service and maintenance
- assembly
- strip downs and rebuilds
- fault finding
- flange management
- working with tight tolerances
- previous experience working with hydraulics (desirable)
