Our client, a world leader in the supply of gases, engineering, and healthcare is looking for a customer service focused sales assistant to join their growing customer facing team located in Fyshwick.

The Role

As a customer focused sales assistant who will join a team that pride themselves on providing excellent service, you will be responsible for promoting their full range of gases, welding, and safety equipment to a diverse range of customers.

Responsibilities in this role include:

Phone and counter sales
Promotion and upselling of new products and initiatives
Development and upkeep of instore displays and promotional material
Stock management
Dispatching and receiving of goods
Safe manual handling of gas cylinders

To be successful you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Experience in a retail sales environment
Strong focus on customer service
Confidence in presenting our wide product & service range to our customers
Excellent time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be highly advantageous
