Manager like you to join our Australian team.


As part of the Business Services team in Melbourne, you will provide outstanding services to local and international clients across a diverse range of industries.

You will be a key contributor to our fast-growing business and will help to build our future as well as your own career.

This role will work closely with a group of three dynamic and progressive partners.

Together you will provide an existing client portfolio of long term and valued clients with services to meet their compliance needs, provide consulting advice and deliver ongoing high-quality accounting, taxation and business support.

About the role:


  • Lead a cohesive team including the review of team members work, provide ongoing training and development, manage workflow and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Oversee the preparation of income tax returns, group tax summaries and loan summaries for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSF's.
  • Oversee Payroll Tax returns, FBT returns and activity statements.
  • Drive the consulting work for your clients including quarterly accounts, cashflow management, CGT concessions, restructuring and tax planning.
  • Build and maintain day to day relationships with clients and other external service providers.
  • Take an active role in leading the broader Business Services team across the firm.
  • Collaborate as required with other Mazars services lines. (Audit, Tax, Consulting etc)
  • Contribute to and work as part of the Mazars Melbourne management team.
  • The majority of work will be completed in our St Kilda Rd offices, with the opportunity to work up to 2 days from home per week.

About you

  • Circa 6 years' + experience in Business Services / Accounting / Tax.
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enjoy creating and developing strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Experience delegating and reviewing the work of your team.
  • Passionate about guiding, mentoring, nurturing and developing team members.
  • Experienced in project management and ensuring deadlines are met inline with budgets.
  • Responsive to client's requirements and changes.
  • Experience with MYOB, Xero and APS highly regarded.
