About the role:


Reporting to the Sales Director, The State Manager will provide leadership, strategic direction, continuous improvement and ongoing coaching to build an engaged, committed and accountable Sales Team across Victoria.

at B&D we work through a strong dealer network so this role will not only lead the team but provide business coaching and advice to our key customer network.


Working collaboratively with the sales team you will offer hands-on leadership, developing and executing the business's sales strategy, and working closely with critical stakeholders.


A key aspect of this role will be to balance strategic directional support and hands on leadership, developing the team through in field coaching.

Skills & Experience:

You will have a passion for sales; leading projects; and progressing your career with a market leader. You will be known for celebrating great performances within your team and are motivated by coaching and developing others.


Ideally you can demonstrate:

  • Several years working in field sales roles of increasing responsibility
  • People leadership and management skills across geographical territories
  • A genuine passion for developing others
  • Ability to effectively manage customer relationships and build a strong rapport with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
