Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product and Sales, we are currently looking for our next Compliance and Assurance Lead.

this role will ensure delivery of effective Compliance and Controls Assurance Program along with contributing to an aligned response by RAC Insurance to ensure regulatory obligations are met.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis.

What's the role?

  • Implementing and maintaining processes, controls and monitoring programs for the effective management and reporting of compliance risks
  • Working with Insurance Risk and Compliance on training content to upskill team members in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. Providing coaching to Product and Sales leaders to understand and meet compliance obligations
  • Contributing to the investigation and assessment of incidents and breaches, in conjunction with the Insurance Risk and Compliance team
  • Driving risk culture initiatives (Risk Culture Road Map) in collaboration with the Insurance Risk and Compliance team
  • Providing effective and timely reporting of the units incident responses to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve an aligned and effective risk culture
  • Leading and inspiring a team of 2 Incident Coordinators
What we're looking for?

  • Significant experience with operational aspects of the General Insurance or Financial Services industry
  • Experience with risk and compliance management standards and methods
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Services and/or General Insurance Compliance landscape and relevant legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Welldeveloped influencing and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to align solutions to business requirements
  • Experience in leading a team, to be the best they can be each and every day
