Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical/Diesel Fitter to join our client's in Willawong as a Hydraulic Technician

Excellent opportunity for a Hydraulic Technician to join a talented team located in Willawong Our client has a great opportunity for a trade qualified fitter, diesel fitter or mechanic to join their team as an HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) Technician, to manufacture, refurbished and maintain the HPUs for the oil and gas sectors.

Who will you be working with?

Our client is a global leader in oilfield technology solutions, chemistry programs and services, drilling technologies, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the oil and gas industry.

One of their specialities lies within hydraulic and pneumatic systems which is where your trade knowledge and expertise will be well utilised.

What will you be doing?

Assemble, manufacture, test, or tear down, and rebuild engines
Work along various assembly sections to learn crossfunctional skills.
Use hand and power tools in alignment with safety requirements.
Perform quality checks to ensure finished product meets specifications.

What do you need?

Trade qualified Mechanical fitter or equivalent.
Hand and power tools experience
Strong commitment to WHS is a must
Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
Ability to be a team player and can work to achieve a common goal.
Knowledge of hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems is highly desired.
