KBR Australia has been engaged in working with Defence and Defence Industry for over 20 years and has core competencies in program and project management, engineering, asset management, integrated logistics support, procurement and training solutions, and provides in-depth expertise to a wide range of projects within the Defence sector.


The Role


This role will see you manage the delivery of all activities related to our Electronic Warfare, Intelligence, Surveillance (EWIS) Land Domain Integrated Work Package (IWP) for Defence, as well as all staff assigned to the IWP.

You will also oversee, coordinate and control any projects within the IWP and act as a point of contact for the client.

A focus on building relationships, managing KBR's partnerships and maintaining client satisfaction will be key to this role, with a view to maximising business opportunities within the agreed operating structure.


Additionally, this role will have responsibility for budgeting and cost management of the IWP, as well as risk management, reporting, governance and quality assurance.


Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • Extensive experience in management of deliverablesbased projects
  • Strong people management and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience within Defence and/or Defence Industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in management of finances, contracts and performance reporting
  • Professional project management qualifications highly desirable
