Reporting to the Group General Manager Financial Planning and Analysis, the Group Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a newly created role in a new team at Crown.

In this role you will establish the team and its role as a strategic partner to the Group CFO and other Group executives.

This role will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of consolidated budgeting and forecasting processes for Crown's Australian Resorts, as well as providing regular reporting and analysis to support various stakeholders throughout the business.

Additionally, you will work closely with the Group Strategy team and Property FP&A teams to deliver insights and drive financial improvement across the Group.

The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with the Group General Manager FP&A and Property FP&A teams to drive execution of all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis efforts, ensuring consistency, accuracy and timeliness of outputs, including developing financial models and analysis tools.
  • Support the strategic business planning process by providing analysis on key financial performance indicators.
  • Review financial and operational analytical data to better understand company performance and produce detailed analysis on actual performance versus budget.
  • Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability of initiatives to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with the preparation of business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
  • Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improving the processes used to create forecasts and analyse historical data.
  • Stakeholder management, working with the General Manager Group FP&A, Property FP&A teams and business unit leaders in making strategic, datadriven decisions.
  • Coach, develop, and drive the achievement of department objectives and accountabilities throughout the team, actively managing team performance and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Strong experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis, Strategic Financial Planning or Finance Manager role, ideally with experience building an FP&A function. Previous experience working in the integrated resort industry would be an advantage but is not required
  • Advanced understanding of best practices, industry trends and emerging technologies in the FP&A space, with the ability to gather, synthesise and analyse data and draw logical conclusions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work closely with executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field in addition to CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
