We're looking for a Full Time, passionate
Education Assistant to join the team at our Kingsley social centre and empower our customers to live
their life, their way.

How will I make a difference?
You will play a crucial role in the lives of our customers and their families, by improving and overseeing the Afterschool and Vacation Care Programs


In particular, you will:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to our staff in provision in afterschool care and activities in line with NDIS plans.
  • Develop and grow programs to run through the day and evenings to support all groups with disabilities to live their life their way.
  • Be responsive in changing needs and goals of our customer base.
  • Plan and develop varied programs in line with budget requirements.

Will possess a Certificate IV Education Assistant in school based education (or equivalent) and have experience in a similar role.

You will celebrate diversity and culture, promote wellness and reablement through positive relationship building, respect freedom of expression and the independent decision making of our customers.


You will also have:

  • Experience with developing programs to meet individual needs
  • Experience with people with disabilities
  • Good communication skills written and verbal with previous leadership experience
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within last six months)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current certification in Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009)
  • Evidence of COVID19 and Influenza vaccinations
