This is an outstanding opportunity for passionate governance professional to join a growing and market leading ASX-listed enterprise which has successfully developed a portfolio of innovative products on a global basis.

The business provides a highly supportive, forward looking and values-based workplace culture, providing an opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary to embed and contribute within this broad role.

Reporting to the CFO/Company Secretary and working closely with a range of internal stakeholders including the Executive team and Board, you will assist with delivering a professional and efficient company secretarial function for the company as well as contributing to oversight of its various governance functions


Key responsibilities will include:

proactively managing, contributing to and co-ordinating the preparation of Board and sub-committee meetings, agendas, papers, minutes and actions; supporting the efficient functioning and running of the AGM, Board and sub-committees (eg, calendars, work plan, meeting arrangements and logistics); and ensuring the Company's compliance with its statutory obligations under relevant laws and regulations, including statutory records, maintenance of registers and records, and completion and lodgement of statutory forms and returns.


You will be an experienced Assistant Company Secretary or Governance professional with at least three years' relevant experience within an ASX-listed company (preferably a small to medium sized company) and will have or will be working toward Corporate Governance qualifications.

With strong executive wisdom, particularly at Board level, you will have highly developed verbal and written communication skills and an ability to excel within a fast-paced, open and collegiate environment.

Mature and thoughtful in outlook, and down-to-earth in style, you will bring an inquisitive mind to the role as well as highly developed organisational skills.

This 0.6 FTE role might be performed over four shorter days with the ability to be flexible with hours in the lead up to and allow attendance at key events (eg, Board meetings, AGM).

Legal qualifications will be highly regarded, although not essential.
