About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team as Product Planner.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the continued supply of Canon merchandise from Japan and SE Asia whilst maintaining active control of inventory levels in line with Canon Australia and New Zealand requirements.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys liaising with a variety of business stakeholders and is keen to learn.


Scope of the role includes:

  • Monitor & analyse AX merchandise stock levels in order to maintain correct levels
  • Consolidated and adjust CA/CNZ sales forecast and update supply request and submit to Canon Inc. periodic.
  • Coordinate and adjust future supply with Canon Inc.
  • Provide inventory reports to CA/CNZ sales team and update the latest supply situation
  • Anaylse CA/CNZ sales, inventory and determined supply qty to CNZ
  • Coordinate bundling product with logistic and 3rd supplier
  • Supervise camera accessories sales forecast prior to submitting to Canon Inc.
  • Provide ETA for awaiting items to all parties involved
  • Recover returned stock to remarketed stock
  • Projects as assigned
  • Support and encourage colleagues
  • Manage backorder processes

About you


You are someone with excellent organisation skills and administration skills you know how to use excel including VLOOKUP and Formulars.

Ideally, you'll have a least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role. Your ability to work effectively within a sales business is key and you thrive in a deadline driven environment.

You are a confident communicator, and you know how to deliver in a varied and busy environment that puts the customer at the heart.

Key Skills & Experience include

  • AX inventory knowledge
  • The ability to interpret data and make appropriate forecast/purchasing volume decisions to meet defined supply rate targets
  • Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel including macro skills
