Our IDEA Global Internship Program

Our IDEA Global Internship Program is a full-time paid internship for approximately 12 weeks starting in or around June 2023.

Interns will receive support, coaching and mentorship, gain practical work experience, and develop new skills to expand their career possibilities.

Through the course of the program, we've designed a variety of exciting, fun and thoughtful sessions and experiences. There will also be opportunities to connect, collaborate and build relationships with interns across the globe.

All interns follow two tracks of learning:
the in-depth learning and skillset relevant to their role and the broad breadth knowledge of our business operations.

Our IDEA Global Internship Program curates a journey for each intern to discover where their passions lie and helps them lay out their career path.

About this team

The Brand Digital & Social team creates and executes locally relevant brand, social media and digital content creator strategies that aim to build our brand funnel and drive authentic connections with our guests and communities.

We also lead campaigns from start to finish, developing campaign-specific strategies, media plans, channel executions and recaps.

We work closely with different teams including Ecomm, Digital Marketing, Creative, Internal and PR, Brand Operations, Community, Product and Finance each and every day.

This role reports into the Brand Manager.


A day in the life:

All of our interns play an important role in our business and are key members of the team.

Some of the tasks, roles and responsibilities include:

  • Support Brand Manager with general brand and campaign work from sourcing insights and research, preparing campaign briefs, creating media and channel plans in excel, reviewing channel tactics, to collating results post campaign/initiative
  • Support with IDEA and ambassador storytelling
  • Assist in establishing a centre marketing process with the support of our external media agency
  • Supporting with day to day liaison with media agency and other external partners as required
  • Assist with budgeting, monthly expenditure reviews and relevant finance administration
  • Support Digital & Social Media Marketing lead with social media execution including but not limited to creating annual content plans, scheduling and posting, collating results and insights and executing the digital content creator approach

Nice to haves:


  • Working towards qualification or prior experience in marketing, brand management, sport marketing and/or social media.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, brand strategy, campaign planning and execution, media (paid, earned, owned) and social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills and excellent grammar.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in excel.
