Our client, a well-established group surgical specialist practice located along Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill is actively seeking an experienced
Patient Services Manager working across a team of 19 staff split across 3 sub teams, so the position will involve a large component of HR management.


Supported by a well-structured administration team across multiple site locations covering Southeast Queensland the team culture is collaborative, with a patient care focus, creating a positive and supportive workplace environment.

This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours a week (Monday to Friday).


Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Direct leadership and supervision of the Patient Services Team, working closely with the Clinical Manager and reporting directly to the General Manager
  • Coordination of backoffice administration human resources for the practice to ensure that telephone calls, booking patient appointments, preparation for patient clinics, surgical quotes and bookings, patient billing, receipting and queries are all handled within the practice guidelines.
  • Quality control of documentation and service delivery
  • Training and skills assessment as well an ongoing maintenance of practice policies and procedures
  • Preparing and managing administration staff rosters and timetabling for clinicians
  • Ensuring an overall day to day contribution to service excellence and the ongoing growth and success of everyday practice operations.

Ideally, to succeed in a position such as this, you will have:

  • At least 5 years Practice Management experience within a surgical specialist practice
  • A proven track record in managing day to day operational and HR needs.
  • Prior experience using Genie software (or similar)
  • A Diploma of Practice Management or similar qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • A positive, professional and patient focused attitude towards your career within the medical/healthcare setting.
