About the role


As a Food Services Assistant (FSA) you will make a difference each and every day in providing healthy, hearty and delicious meals prepared by our Chef.

Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Chef/ Chef Manager and your team to deliver a high quality catering service to our residents.

We have Permanent Part-Time and Casual opportunities, with various shifts available across a fortnightly roster, for Food Service Assistants to join our team


Your main duties will include:

Ensuring the catering service is adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirement

Completing all appropriate food safety record forms as per legislation requirements.

Ensuring that all duties are worked in accordance with the Food Safety Program at all times

Ensuring uniforms, appropriate protective clothing and footwear is worn whilst in the workplace.

About you

Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies)

Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors (Desirable)

Current National police check no disclosable outcomes

Current valid Australian work rights

COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
