Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting a Construction Manager to join our team in our Brisbane office to oversee a significant project located in Turkey, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a high-profile mining project, ensuring that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary construction team, manage subcontractors, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver outstanding results.


About the role

  • Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans and schedules, in alignment with project objectives and budgetary constraints.
  • Lead and supervise all construction activities, including earthworks, civil works, structural installations, and mechanical/electrical installations.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues and maintain project schedule.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources required for construction activities.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to construction personnel, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, and local communities, to address concerns and maintain positive relationships.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards throughout the construction phase.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction management roles within the mining or EPCM industry, with a strong background in gold and copper deposits projects preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing largescale construction projects, from planning through to completion.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian and international regulations, as well as Turkish construction practices and regulations, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to the project site in Turkey as required.
