Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting a Construction Manager to join our team in our Brisbane office to oversee a significant project located in Turkey, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a high-profile mining project, ensuring that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary construction team, manage subcontractors, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver outstanding results.

About the role

Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans and schedules, in alignment with project objectives and budgetary constraints.
Lead and supervise all construction activities, including earthworks, civil works, structural installations, and mechanical/electrical installations.
Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues and maintain project schedule.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources required for construction activities.
Provide leadership and mentorship to construction personnel, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, and local communities, to address concerns and maintain positive relationships.
Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards throughout the construction phase.

About You

Bachelor's degree in, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in construction management roles within the mining or EPCM industry, with a strong background in gold and copper deposits projects preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing largescale construction projects, from planning through to completion.
Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams in a multicultural environment.
Familiarity with relevant Australian and international regulations, as well as Turkish construction practices and regulations, is advantageous.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Willingness to travel and relocate to the project site in Turkey as required.
