A hop skip and jump from the multicultural Parramatta CBD, will bring you close to two locations as a Hire Controller, you pick where you wish to work - Moorebank or Silverwater.


The hire controller career in this business is considered one of the most important to the business, without it, its profitability will cease to exist.

With your energy, drive, enthusiasm, and brilliant interpersonal skills you

perform effectively both with internal teams and customers.


Your primary responsibilities as a hire controller are to coordinate and record all activities to source, deliver and pick up equipment ordered and used by our consumers.


  • Take control of phone enquiries, orders from customers chat away to ensure all needs are met.
  • Liaise, check and pool resources with the hiring team, to ensure that equipment is readily available, maintained, to be delivered to the customer.
  • Ability to process hires, off hires, transfers, and exchanges.
  • Be able to process manual paperwork when necessary.
  • Operate and maintain the daily diary recording of all equipment movement from site including and reporting of errors and discrepancies to your manager.
  • Ensure WHS standards are maintained.
  • Attend and contribute to all general branch meetings.

THE ESSENTIALS

  • Hire industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating the activities related to plant and equipment which includes labour, transport, and maintenance activities.
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Basic to intermediate computer operational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • A good command of the English language
