We are a Gold Coast based disability support service provider, and we are looking for a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual who is experienced in providing support services to individuals with disabilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Providing assistance with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
  • Providing emotional support to clients and assisting with socialisation and community integration.
  • Implementing creative and engaging activities to promote independence and wellbeing.
  • Providing support to people with disabilities.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated experience working as a Disability Support Worker, specifically with children.
  • Chinese cooking skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with individuals with disabilities.
  • A compassionate and caring nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in working hours and shifts.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or be willing to obtain cert III through our provider.
