Our client is a market leader in its industry and has a strong focus on delivering successful outcomes to their customers.

As they continue to grow within the market through customer excellence, they are now looking for a Standalone HR Advisor to join their broader organisation to support this vision.


Reporting into the CEO, you will undertake a generalist role with a focus on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.


Primary Responsibilities will include:

Provide expertise in employee development and implement learning and development programs at the local level;
Coach managers and leaders on HR and professional development matters;
Ensure compliance with government legislated requirements and adherence to HR policies;
Manage employee relations issues effectively;
Oversee the performance management process to ensure fairness and equity;
Consult with managers on various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee and labor relations and performance management;
Manage HR monthly reporting;
Identify and present improvement opportunities to senior management, implementing approved changes;
Assist with the company's workplace drug and alcohol program; and

Promote and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the HR department.

About you


With well-developed knowledge across all factors that influence an employee's lifecycle, you will have the ability to think critically and propose practical solutions.


Naturally, you will demonstrate:

Strong background in a HR Generalist position, preferably standalone;
A proactive and consultative working style, with an innate ability to build productive relationships with various stakeholders across all levels of the business;
A strong business acumen, resilience to flex and navigate a changing environment and the ability to 'lean in' and be involved in tasks that will contribute to business outcomes;
Proven experience working with leaders to coach and guide their decision-making process, alongside your ability to influence culture and performance;
A collaborative team player with a down-to-earth working style; and

Exposure to a HRIS (Workday Desirable).
