Currently in a solid growth phase, we are seeking an apprentice Sign Maker to join the team at our Slacks Creek operation.
Role
The role reports to the Production Manager and has hours of 7am - 3.30pm, Monday - Thursday and 7am-1pm Friday.
It is a key component of the 20 strong production team and carries responsibility for producing the full range of signs, including building signs, window graphics, wall graphics and vehicle wraps and LED digital signs.
Within that broad brief, specific tasks include:
- Onsite visits, managing a seamless process installing/meeting clients sign needs
- Liaising with sales & design to ensure the highest possible production standards
- Occasional site surveys
- Creating fabrication jigs & fixtures
Competency with workshop machinery, such as table saws, drill presses, digital printers and the typical hand tools found in the signage workplace are preferred.

- Problem solving skills; sometimes under stress when meeting deadlines

- A team player attitude, sharing information & assisting others to achieve common objectives
- Willingness and flexibility to accept overtime when required
Tickets/licences needed:
- Construction White card
- Manual Drivers licence
- Working at Heights & EQP tickets preferable
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
