Working as part of the Parks Services team, you will be responsible for providing day to day direction and support to a team of seven Reticulation Maintainers and relevant contractors.

You will ensure irrigation systems are maintained in accordance with standards and groundwater resources are utilised efficiently.


As well as being a highly effective communicator, you will have extensive experience in working with commercial irrigation systems and have detailed knowledge of bore and pump operation; and maintenance.

This role involves working out in the field alongside the team as well as supporting the Irrigation Supervisor with administrative tasks.

Therefore you will need to be comfortable and competent with relevant office based duties and computer use. The ability to diagnose system faults independently and be self-motivated is imperative in this role.

  • Extensive knowledge of the operation and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems
  • Experience at system fault diagnosis, maintaining valve operation, solenoids and wiring
  • Able to prioritise work for the team and manage own time
  • Sound written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication
  • Able to demonstrate the safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations
As well as a gross weekly wage of
$1,360 (incorporating all allowances and penalty rates), we offer:
