Are you an experienced Domestic Assistant with exceptional relationship-building skills and a passion for helping people improve their quality of life?


If so, then come join our Home Care Services Team and help support our clients in various locations across Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula.


About the role


As a Domestic Assistant you will help older people live better in their own homes by assisting them with a range of domestic duties and household tasks.

You will build relationships with our clients helping to understand their individual needs, goals and aspirations. You will also promote and enable our healthy and active ageing approach.

A motor vehicle allowance is also payable for travel between clients.

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
- previous experience in a domestic assistant role that didn't have direct supervision
- current and unrestricted driver's licence & own registered and insured car
- ability to organise own workload and to complete tasks within the time allocated
- impressive interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- a good level of English literacy including the ability to read written instructions and speak in a manner that older people can understand
- a basic understanding of the requirements to support clients living with dementia including those who display challenging behaviours
- a basic knowledge of the requirements of the Aged Care Standards as are applicable to the role

Please note that applicants must be available over a broad range of hours and have split shift availability.
