Permanent Full time, Part time and Casual


What does success look like in this role?

  • You will build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  • Document children's learning and development.
  • Actively working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

The things we really need in this role look like:


  • Diploma in Children's Services, Bachelor of Early (or working towards).
  • Prior experience in long daycare.
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Some Mandatory Requirements that you will need for this role are:


  • Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID 012 (previous 004)
  • Current CPR HLTAID 00
  • Current Working with Children's Check Card
  • You will be requested to undertake a pre employment medical check

  • evidence of mandatory qualifications/registrations/licences,
- sufficient proof of their right to work in Australia, and

  • Complete a National Police Check completed via City of Port Phillip's Provider.
  • Evidence of a Working with Children Check (employee type with City of Port Phillip registered as the organisation).
