The Role
We're currently recruiting for a Liability Claims Consultant to manage personal injury and property damage claims under a broad variety of insurance products.
This entails managing claims from lodgement through to completion, ensuring an optimum and efficient service to customers, maximising opportunities to ensure claims are managed to meet our customer and financial demands within expected delivery timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers.
- Process claims in an efficient solution focussed manner whilst adhering to financial/reserving principles.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Support the achievement of IAG's objective of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry.
Skills & Experience
- General insurance claims experience and/ or experience in legal or regulatory environments
- Insurance policy analysis experience highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Ability to manage service providers.
- Can manage high volumes of work activities with low error rates.
- Ability to work closely and collaborate with a team of likeminded professionals
