Mechanical Fitter

Onsite Based
Located onsite in Thomastown, you'll work with an industry leader in electrical, automation and mechanical services. They seek a qualified Mechanical Fitter with a forklift license (ideally) to increase their workforce.

This position is offered at a Contract Hourly Rate of $57.50 Per Hour + $27 Per Day Travel Allowance. Hours are 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm inclusive, with potential overtime. This role is six months temp to perm, with the view of long-term employment.

Immediate start is available Due to the nature of this role, you may be asked to work day or night shifts in the future or work at other locations.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

Service, repair, and maintain various equipment, including but not limited to automated machinery, conveyors and more.
Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Able to drive a basic forklift
Hold a mechanical aptitude
