This position is located in multiple locations across Australia and offered a "Work from Home" opportunity.


What will you do?

  • Support the development of policy and legislation, particularly related to the imposition of levies and the collection and disbursement of levy funds.
  • Support the preparation of drafting instructions for the Office of Parliamentary Counsel to prepare the new legislative framework
  • Reviewing existing legislation and historical levies policies to shape the new legislative framework
  • Supporting the legislation exposure and introduction processes
  • Supporting the preparation of reports and policy discussion papers for review
  • Liaising with other policy, regulatory and operational areas in the department and across government.

Knowledge and experience

  • Experience or exposure to legislative reform and legislation development is highly desirable.
  • Experience or exposure to large government reforms or policy development.

Please note:

If you are successful in this position you will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
