    Description

    TRS Resourcing has been asked to search for a Customs Broker for the international logistics company. As a Customs Broker, you will prepare customs clearance declarations for various esteemed companies locally and worldwide. Your duties will include accurately classifying and valuing import and export products to facilitate customs clearance while ensuring compliance with national regulations and company policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Daily Processing: Manage a portfolio of clients from document assessment to entry submission, collaborating with customers and our network to obtain necessary information and documents using advanced technology and internal KPIs.
    - Daily Management: Respond to emails within set timeframes and coordinate with customers, Customs, DAFF, and colleagues to meet internal KPIs for entry completion.
    - Classification and Valuation: Assess Tariff classification information and maintain supporting documentation.
    - Entry Processing: Review and pre-lodge entries, gather data on Community Protection Questions, input AEP commodity codes and BMSB codes, and make necessary amendments.

    Qualifications:

    Australian Customs Brokers License or application in progress (within 12 months).
    - Completion of Diploma of Customs Broking.
    - Minimum 3 years of experience in classifying diverse products.
    - Proficiency in Government Regulations and Quarantine clearance processes, including COLS and BMSB measures.
    - Experience with Integrated Customs System and Third-Party Systems, along with accounting knowledge.
    - Strong problem-solving, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
    - Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
    - Knowledge of international freight shipping terms and practical understanding of general mathematics for financial transactions.
    - Familiarity with Road Transport Operations and good geographical knowledge. Additional Information:
