How you'll make a difference:


The Manager, AOD Performance and Commissioning, will hold accountability for Victoria's AOD services, and will lead a small team to coordinate and lead responses to new and emerging issues and risks relating to the delivery of AOD services.

The role involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Health Services and NGO and a range of program and policy areas within the department.

The successful applicant will demonstrate sound leadership and people management skills, as well as an ability to influence others to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the Victorian health workforces and improve outcomes for Victorians.


Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualification in health or a related field is desirable.
  • Expertise in health system reform.
  • A strong understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is essential
