Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, driver training, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.


We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Food Service Assistant to provide high-level planning, implementation, delivery and recording of all aspects of the food delivery of the ELC service.

This is a permanent part-time 15 hours per week position based at Balga Corps.

You will successfully

  • Compliance to highest standards of food safety legislation to vulnerable persons (aged 5yrs and under)
  • Provide a varied, balanced meal plan for a range of ages, dietary, religious and medical needs
  • Understand, comply and adhere to food safety protocols, policy and process
  • Manage the early years' kitchen including storage, cleaning and stock rotation
You will have

  • Certificate III in Food Service
  • 12 months experience in a similar role is desired
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
