You will be part of a new corporate in-house culinary kitchen team in the heart of Sydney consisting of exceptional food and beverage specialists.
Working under a Chef de Cuisine, this tight team will leverage their well-developed hospitality skills and expertise in combining food, beverage, and exemplary service to create unique and memorable experiences for guests of all types.
The culinary kitchen team will be focused on delivering quality, speed, execution, and unparalleled "Customer Wow" experiences.Role Description:
This entry-level position in a premier Australian kitchen will allow you to work side by side with talented chefs who have achieved mastery in their craft
This supporting role reports to the Chef de Cuisine on L53 Kitchen and provides operational support to the Culinary Teams as needed.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of back-of-house areas, including kitchen, pantry, and storage rooms.
Ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
Receive product deliveries, organise and maintain dry storage and all linens.
Follow guidance from Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine, including but not limited to prep and stock rotation.
Assist with stock audits and report damages.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, mugs, and glassware.
Understand and operate pantry equipment.
Assist FOH manager as required, including but not limited to pulling plates for events, cleaning and storage of all crockery, cutlery, glass and silverware.
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday role
Core shift hours: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Flexibility in working hours based on business needs

Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a neat appearance.
Present oneself professionally and respectfully.
Treat guests with respect, politeness, and friendliness.
Required Skills/Experience:
Preferred experience in hospitality.
Proficiency in Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Suite is preferred.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Fluent in English.
Positive attitude and passion for customer and operational services.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
Proactive, team player, and problem solver.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidentiality and diplomacy.
Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.

$49, $54,000.00 per year
