This is an exciting opportunity join a growing listed Financial Institution in Australia. This role plays a pivotal role in supporting the business deliver to its go to market plan, regulatory obligations, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering commercial riskbased advice to support decision making and supporting the functions under the Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Facilitating the rollout and completion of risk and self control assessments.
Providing a risk perspective around the governance of change management
Identifying emerging risks and ensuring mitigating plans are in place
Delivering risk training to team members across all levels in Operations.
Continuous improvement and further development of a strong risk culture.

Qualifications
years' experience in a business risk (Line 1), enterprise risk (Line 2) and/or internal audit (Line 3) role.

Exp in financial services or highly regulated industry is required (Advantageous with someone who has exp in asset finance / salary packaging).
Strong communication skills, able to work with the business and whilst maintaining essential independence.
Business partnering skills with the ability to work closely with the Business.
Excellent academic background.
