The School of Nursing and Midwifery is one of the largest of schools within the Heath Group and Griffith University.
Our School has a strong international reputation, and we are committed to the global development of nursing and midwifery practice, theory and research in positive and visionary ways.
The School is currently recruiting for a Lecturer to primarily teach within Biosciences for Nursing and Midwifery students.This role will contribute to the successful teaching of undergraduate (primarily) and postgraduate programs which includes initiating and developing course material where appropriate.
This is a continuing, full time position and will be primarily based at both the Griffith University Gold Coast & Logan campuses.
Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $108,298 - $128,608 per annum + 17% superannuation.
The total FTE package will be in the range $126,708- $150,471 per annum.Qualifications

The successful applicant will also have:
- demonstrated experience teaching Biosciences for Nurses and Midwives,
- possess a PhD or enrolment in a PhD, with a track record and commitment to teaching excellence (highly regarded),
- success in attracting research grant funding and a track record of publishing high quality papers,
- experience in curriculum design, development and course coordination.
