Our Family:

Hello We are new parents & are looking for someone experienced & warm to regularly come into our Fitzroy home on weekdays & spend time with our beautiful little boy

OUR SON:

is just over five months old, in great health and is an absolute delightbut we are tired (particularly mum) & we've realised having someone give us at least a few hours back each day will help us out immensely.

We are both keen to foster creativity in him as he grows and learns about the world.

Baby is being breastfed, but when you're spending time with him, we'll have expressed breastmilk that he gladly takes in a paced style bottle feed.

ABOUT US:
Dad is working from home full time on IT & music projects.

Mum is taking time out of her design business to look after baby but checks in on her projects occasionally.

We are loving being parents but are both keen to continue living a rich and full life.

We have a cheeky, food oriented, indoor cat, Django (he's meant to be good for people with allergies as he's a Devon Rex).

OUR AIM:

is to let this mumma have at least 4 hours every other weekday back to have a nap/ do some work/ have some "me" time so that she is refreshed to be with baby again afterwards.

Soon we expect this may develop into 6-8hrs for most weekdays as mumma transitions back into work.

Your Duties:

Bubs enjoys some hours chatting/ singing/ having tummy time/ going out in his stroller for walks or listening to music. He is still napping a few times a day. If he is asleep and you are home, we'd hope for some help with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, general light tidying & cleaning).

Our Perfect Caregiver:

You will be a warm, respectful person keen to connect with our little man. You will need to be able bodied as we live in a walk up apartment on the third level. We will appreciate clear, respectful communication with us. We can be flexible on timing (morning afternoon), but are keen to develop some regular times that suit us all.
