Coordinator Community Health and Safety- Initial three month contract role

Public Sector People are partnering with a Peri-Urban Council on the recruitment of a Coordinator of Community Health and Safety for an initial three month contract.
You will play a lead role within the directorate and bring with you leadership skills, as well as strong technical knowledge within Community Health and Safety, either from an Environmental Health, Local Laws, or Compliance/Regulation background.
This is an initial three month contract, council are operating on a hybrid working model and offering flexible working arrangements.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of Environmental Health or extensive and diverse experience in the appropriate fields of Environmental Health and Local Laws in either the public or private sector is essential.
- Experience in an enforcement related field and demonstrated court experience.
- Extensive knowledge of State and Local legislation regarding Municipal Law enforcement, environmental health and Local Laws.
- Substantial experience in the delivery of regulatory services in local Government.
