Civil Designer - 12D
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills to join a growing multi-discipline consulting engineering firm.

Position
The Civil Designer will be an integral part of the civil and water engineering team within this company.

Main responsibilities include:

Manage and deliver project documentation in accordance with client briefs, Australian Standards, and local authority requirements.
Design roads, car parks, and earthworks using 12D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Understanding of stormwater drainage, roof drainage, On Site Detention and Retention design.
Prepare bulk earthworks and cut/fill calculations.
Participate in the development and improvement of design and CAD standards.
Attend site inspections, review contractors work and prepare site inspection reports.

You
To be successful you will need to possess the following:

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Construction (or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years' postgraduate experience as a Designer, (local experience required).
Proficiency in in AutoCAD.
Intermediate/advanced skills in 3D terrain modeling software (12D or AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Sydneybased.
