About Our Client:

Join this local government as EA to Director Corporate Services for a 4 month contract role.


Day to day duties include:

  • Provide confidential and efficient support services for the Executive Director Corporate Services and Executive Manager Corporate Services including correspondence, report preparation, communications and appointments.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and plans and associated documentation.
  • Liaise and maintain communication with Elected Members according to Council protocol.
  • Liaise with other Directorate staff, government and nongovernment agencies on behalf of the Executive Director Corporate Services.
  • Coordinate the Corporate Services Directorate office management including staff movements, office consumables, stationery, petty cash, mail distribution and office maintenance.
  • Provide administration and secretarial support for Corporate Services Directorate Managers as required.
  • Arrange conference materials and attendance to conferences for the Executive Director, other Corporate Service staff and / or Elected Members.
  • Coordinate the Corporate Services Committee meeting and other relevant Councillor Workshops and presentations.
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and relevant administration documents related to the Corporate Services Committee and Audit Committee.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Demonstrated competence in executive level correspondence, report writing and presentations.
  • Proficient word processing skills and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels delivering a high level of interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to manage time, work output and priorities and handle a range of tasks with competing priorities.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
