About the role

We are looking for our next Digital Workplace Enablement Lead to join us to drive the adoption and appreciation of digital workplace technologies within Ipswich City Council.

This lead role will have a focus on lifting the standard of digital business literacy by coaching leaders and employees at all levels of the council.

You will ensure our employees have the motivation, permission, and knowledge to fully exploit IT-supplied technology.

Some of your key responsibilities would include:

  • Define and lead a Digital Workplace Enablement strategy and processes
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong, successful business relationships at all levels of Council to assess, and promote understanding of evolving need for changes in services, products, and systems through better digital workplace enablement
  • Champion and provide internal awareness of ICT services and functions and promote improvements to operations delivered by ICT
  • Support a culture of continuous service improvement leveraging best practices, industry trends, and research to continually improve the way of working, engagement models, and processes
  • Oversee the creation, management, and awareness of the centralised repository of technology enablement resources (videos, howto, quickstart guides, etc.)

About you
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
  • Proven technical experience to fulfill the requirements of the role, and you may have Graduate or Post Graduate qualifications
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Be a strategic thinker, researching and evaluating opportunities
  • A high level of skill in the business communications, data visualisation and marketing corporate services
  • An enablement mindset including the ability to focus on empowering and ensuring that employees have the motivation and knowledge to fully exploit ITsupplied technology

This is a fixed-term position until 30 June 2025 at Level 8 with an attractive salary package of $117,193 to $132,236 plus up to 12.25% super.
