Working for Australia's leading university, our client likes to give a distinctive Melbourne experience and help students become well-rounded, thoughtful, and skilled professionals, making a positive impact across the globe.

They are looking for a Student Enrichment Officer office to start ASAP for a 10-12 week assignment. The role will have the option of working under a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)

The role of the Student Enrichment Officer enables the development, implementation, and evaluation of enrichment activities.

Student enrichment activities include a range of initiatives and services that complement all students' experience and enhance the overall experience of studying.


Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide effective student enrichment activities and events that focus on improving the student experience and fostering engagement including orientation, careers expo, wellbeing activities, course completion celebration events and more.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of procedures for enrichment programs
  • Deliver a coordinated approach to communications with students regarding enrichment opportunities, including regular publication of a newsletter for current students
  • Run networking opportunities to encourage and support collaboration among students
  • Develop enrichment activities in conjunction with Student and Scholarly Services to offer comprehensive and targeted programs in areas such as careers and employment, academic skills
  • The role will be required to perform other duties as required.


To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in events, communications, marketing and / or stakeholder engagement experience.

This role is working within a dynamic & fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact with people at all levels is essential as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organisation and time management skills is a must with a high level of attention to detail with the ability to think laterally.

Being able to work under pressure and be able to multitask and prioritise your work is critical. Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office suites including Microsoft Teams. If you at previous experience working in the University Sector this would be highly regarded but not essential.
