About the Role


We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager to join us on maternity leave cover for approximately 7-month period.

This role will support the NNT Brand & Product Manager. This role is accountable for the product development and category management of accessories.


What you'll be doing

  • Identify new product opportunities through research, feedback from customers, sales team etc
  • Develop brief to product development and follow NPD stage and gate process to execution/launch and tracking
  • Develop and track timelines, lead weekly product review project team meetings
  • Develop all trims and packaging for the new product(s)/range together with the graphics team.
  • Work with sales and planning team on forecasting using the bottom up forecasting tool
  • Train sales team/customer service and present to major customers
  • Develop Launch Sellin Kit
  • Monthly sales reporting of all categories across apparel & accessories to the merchandise and sales team
  • Assist Senior Product Manager with execution of communication plan involving various media and/or print (prepro and shoot day), POS as well as PR, catalogue, price list
  • Day to day handling of questions from sales team & customers across accessories and NNT apparel.
  • Coordinate product trials and research
  • Regular competitor analysis reviews
  • Review actual sales results vs. target, summarise key learning's, feedback on products
  • Generate & summarise monthly sales performance by category
  • Brief in new product to marketing, to support a successful go to market for catalogue and new product launches
  • Contributing to innovation workshops

What we're looking for
You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Along with your business acumen, you will have:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Highly organised, ability to prioritise
  • Experience in a product management or similar type role
  • Computer skills (Office Suite, Outlook, Excel).
  • Computer skills (PowerBi) desirable but not essential
