Woodforde Group is working on behalf of a large Medical NFP to assist them in finding a Human Resources Advisor for a temporary to permanent contract.

Your role


Working as part of a team of 5 in their Richmond office space, this role will be assisting the People and Culture Assist team with onboarding of new employees, compliance checks, inbox management and other administrative tasks.

Reporting into the People and Culture Assist Team Leader, your role will involve:

  • Onboarding of new employees
  • Uploading compliance checks (WWCC, Police Checks etc)
  • Completing employee variations
  • Updating employee records in HR system
  • Address written and verbal enquiries from employees and leaders
  • Handle cases in a professional, prompt, and empathetic manner with a focus on customer satisfaction, adhering to industrial agreements, policies, and protocols.
  • Elevate intricate cases to the P&C Assist Team Leader and/or P&C Managers/Business Partners, accompanied by thorough and comprehensive documentation of the work conducted
  • Assist in managing the process of visa nominations and sponsorship
  • Deliver reports and analyses to managers
  • Uphold a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Other adhoc administrative tasks

Your profile
You will have a natural sense of urgency and work well in a busy and deadline driven environment.

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as strong 'customer service' attitude with all interactions you have across the business.


You will be values driven and have a passion to improve and deliver positive outcomes that proactively improve employees wellbeing and engagement.

You will have previous HR Advisor experience and tertiary qualifications in HR will be highly regarded. You will also have exposure to large HRIS systems and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
