  • Salary band 7 $94,685.35 to $114,285.7
  • Full time + monthly ADO.

About the role


As the Team Leader Communications, you will spearhead operational and strategic initiatives and lead a talented team of Communications Business Partners.

Your role involves managing Communications content, overseeing Council's website, producing the Annual Report and implementation of policies, and driving process improvement.

You will collaborate with the Coordinator Communications & Engagement to develop and implement communication strategies, ensuring alignment with Council goals.

Additionally, your expertise will be crucial in crisis management, and you may be rostered for incident management outside regular office hours.


About you

Requirements:


  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering communications functions within a large organisation including website management.
  • Local Government experience is preferred.
