Courtyard by Marriott West Melbourne is looking for an
Events Coordinator to join the team on a
Part-Time basis.

You are a bright mixologist who is always on the lookout for new beverage trends. When you are behind the bar, you create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting. You take pride in offering our guests a diverse and seasonally-inspired beverage menu, a warm conversation, and helpful suggestions. When you shine, our guests will look forward to relaxing with you after a long day.

Experience working in a bar
Good knowledge of cocktails
Ability to work independently in a busy bar
Ability to work 45 days per week

About the Role

Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including upselling.
Determine and give complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g., rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
