We are seeking a Finance Analysist to join our team based in the Melbourne Head Office on a Full-Time contract.

What the role will involve:

  • To work as part of the Management Accounting team to achieve the completion of an accurate and timely monthend close to assist key stakeholders with decision making.
  • To analyse monthly results and partner with various stakeholders across the business to identify favourable and unfavourable variances against forecast and advise stakeholders on areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation of material reconciling items.
  • Technical or functional expertise including excellent numeracy skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability and desire to grow with the organisation.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills.

Experience and background

  • Tertiary qualified in finance / accounting with a minimum of three years of practical experience within a large or midtier accounting firm or a similar role in industry.
  • Part CA or CPA preferred but not essential.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
