We are seeking a Finance Analysist to join our team based in the Melbourne Head Office on a Full-Time contract.

What the role will involve:

To work as part of the Management Accounting team to achieve the completion of an accurate and timely monthend close to assist key stakeholders with decision making.
To analyse monthly results and partner with various stakeholders across the business to identify favourable and unfavourable variances against forecast and advise stakeholders on areas for improvement.
Responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation of material reconciling items.
Technical or functional expertise including excellent numeracy skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Effective organisation and time management skills.
Ability and desire to grow with the organisation.
Analytical and problemsolving skills.
High level of drive, motivation, initiative, and resilience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a team.

Experience and background

Tertiary qualified in finance / accounting with a minimum of three years of practical experience within a large or midtier accounting firm or a similar role in industry.
Part CA or CPA preferred but not essential.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
