***We are currently seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants to join our teams at Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale) & North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre (Ivanhoe) on a casual basis. Shifts are offered across our weekday and weekend services.

As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care to patients/families
  • Working under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and speech pathologists to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
***Healthscope's 'Victorian Rehabilitation Hospitals' encompass three rehabilitation facilities located across the Melbourne Metropolitan region: Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale), North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre (Ivanhoe) and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre (Glen Waverley). Our programmes have a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties. Our sites offer a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.


Selection Criteria:


  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting and/or a basic understanding of therapy programs
