Warehouse Supervisor - Virginia QLD

Key Responsibilities
- To oversee all warehouse casual staff with day to day activities
- To continually coach, mentor & motivate staff to optimize warehouse operations
- To ensure warehouse locations are utilized efficiently and consolidation of stock
- To ensure Turnkey operations are fulfilled daily and scheduled and documentation is uploaded and jobs closed per day
- To be proactive with daily planning, head count requirements to ensure no delays with operations
- To ensure warehouse 'billable' hours are managed correctly to each work scope and that 'nonbillable' hours are minimized.
- To review warehouse processes and in discussion with National Warehouse & Logistics Manager continue to seek improvement and to evolve as per the requirements of operations
- To have a high focus on inventory integrity implementing weekly location/stock checks
- To work closely with QLD Area Manager and support planning of warehouse jobs in conjunction with Open4 Transport jobs
- To ensure the warehouse housekeeping and presentation is maintained to the highest standard and daily cleaning schedules adhered to. To review rubbish collections and add in additional to ensure no build up of cardboard etc in the yard
- To ensure control of warehouse assets and purchasing requirements
- To ensure personal and company KPI's set out are met at all times possible
- Collaborating with staff, other departments, senior management to share information, problem solve and to clarify company objectives.
Work Health and Safety
- To ensure warehouse OH&S is followed diligently and report any concerns/issues to National Warehouse & Logistics Manager
- Take all steps within your control to maintain your own health and safety and the health and safety of others in the workplace, and to contribute to improving WH&S.
- Comply with all safe working procedures and WH&S legislation.
- Participate in risk assessment and workplace inspections.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's & fork lift licence
- Selfmotivated, i.e. does not require constant supervision to maintain productivity.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations
- Good verbal communication, reading and writing skills.
- Maintain high level of personal presentation

Salary:
$60, $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
