About the role

The QInsure Risk and Compliance Team are responsible for ensuring that the QInsure Division meet their compliance obligations and operate within the Board approved Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) & Risk Management Framework (RMF).

As the
QInsure Risk Manager, you will ensure QInsure complies with agreed risk obligations under its RMF and work in partnership with the ART Group Risk team.


Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the approach to managing and overseeing the QI Division's risk profile, including the Divisional Risk register
  • Provide support and input for the Risk and Control Self-Assessment and Risk Management Declaration Process
  • Support the QInsure Leadership Team (QILT) and QI CRO to define the risk management vision, objectives and strategy for the QInsure division and undertake activities to enhance risk management consistent with risk appetite of the organisation
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the QI Risk Management Framework within the QInsure divisional business units
  • Provide reports to the QInsure Leadership Team as well as the navigation of subsequent Board, Committee and Management endorsement via internal processes to meet governance, reporting and regulatory requirements

About you

With a background in Financial Services, you have the ability to manage and influence change whilst managing stakeholders at a senior level.

Furthermore, your skills and qualifications may include the following:


  • Proven experience in risk management roles
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline (desirable)
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies' policy and guidelines
  • Excellent analytical and influencing skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines including those set by external regulators such as ASIC & LCCC including governing bodies
