Pricing Analyst ( SQL / Excel / Tableau ) is required to join a company that exist to inspire millions of people with new and better ways to work and learn via their Retail offering.

This company have a wide variety of products tailored to their customers' needs and have a strong presence across Australia.

The Pricing Function is at the core of the business's value chain, seeking on expanding by hiring for a

Pricing Analyst ( SQL / Excel / Tableau ) to cater for ongoing critical activities as well as upcoming projects and initiatives.

Due to the rate of expansion, there are a couple of internal opportunities within Project and Commercial that may be of interest dependent on your background.

Project provides analysis and commercial advice to the business with focus on maximising revenue and margin expansion across various product lines, sales verticals and channels. The role will deliver positive results through implementing bespoke and targeted pricing projects and initiatives. You will also provide business sound proposals to help drive revenue and profit growth, develop pricing strategies to optimise overall margin, and improve existing processes and team efficiencies.
Commercial sits within their Acquisition and Retention team under the wider pricing portfolio. This role is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives to win new business and retain existing customer portfolios. For this, you will be a business partner with their Sales and Category teams, plus utilise your commercial astuteness to drive favourable margin outcomes in line with their high win and retention rates.

Essential and desirable skills for the

Pricing Analyst ( SQL / Excel / Tableau ) role include:

3-5 years of business/commercial experience
A proven track record in providing detailed pricing, commercial analysis and margin / profitability to key stakeholders
Advanced expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent presentation and communication skills and experience presenting complex information to a variety of stakeholders
Experience working with large/complex datasets
Advanced negotiation skills
Experience using PowerPivot and Tabular data modelling skills
SQL, PowerBI & Tableau highly regarded
Python or R coding experience will be advantageous
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Accounting will be highly regarded
