    Description

    Davito NSW Pty Ltd operates an Italian Restaurant, located in Double Bay, Sydney, NSW. As we're expanding, we are now seeking an experienced and qualified Restaurant Manager to join our friendly team.

    As an Experienced Restaurant Manager, you will undertake the following duties:

    1. Consult with Chef based on customer feedback and reports to plan specials and set prices

    2. Regularly planning changes of the Menus and prices (Adding new dishes, increasing prices, etc)

    3. Take orders from groups for special dishes which are not on the Menus and set the prices

    4. Plan and organises functions and catering for parties (birth parties, company functions, etc)

    5. Check stock levels and make orders

    6. Advertising, Selecting, Recruiting, Inducting, training, managing staff

    7. Promoting business. Actively monitor these and collect customer feedback and identify areas to improve

    8. Maintain financial transactions, records and prepare weekly reports. Bank reconciliation and submit financial data to accountant to prepare BAS and financial reports

    9. Prepare weekly reports on food sales, staff control, etc

    10. Ensure the dining area are clean and the dining area and kitchens comply with health regulations

    11. Responsible for safe food handling of all staff

    12. Ensure the business complies with relevant legislation, for example not supplying liquor to minors and displaying relevant registration and licenses correctly

    13. Consults with customers to ensure their satisfaction with meals and services provided

    14. Responds to customer feedback and complaints, takes reasonable steps to resolve the issues

    Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Needed:

    Appropriate diploma certification

    Relevant professional background

    Ability to manage and work effectively in a team
